1 cup organic almond milk
1 cup (about 1/2 steam-in-bag) organic spinach leaves
1 cup frozen bananas, strawberries, mangoes (Whole Foods Organic Tropical Fruit Blend)
1 handful parsley, optional*
Combine all ingredients and blend until smooth. Makes about 4 servings.
* I had leftover parsley from last night’s dinner so I threw that in too. Two tablespoons of parsley provides 155% of your daily recommended amount of vitamin K, 16% of vitamin C, 12% of vitamin A, plus folate and iron.
